More than 25 children will enter foster care in Arizona – every day. Many times children come into foster care with little more than the clothes on their back or what they can carry in a trash bag as they’re rushed out the door. They may have never ridden a bicycle or sat down for a family meal. They may be struggling to keep up in school or never dared dream of playing a sport. The Arizona Friends of Foster Children Foundation changes the story for kids in foster care by funding social, athletic and educational activities and items that provide them with quality experiences while they live through very difficult circumstances.
UMOM restores hope and rebuilds lives by providing shelter, services and affordable housing for people experiencing homelessness.
Our philosophy is: Housing First. Get the family or individual into shelter, then work on the barriers – unemployment, substance abuse, medical conditions, violence – that caused them to experience homelessness.
Our Values
Learn: We pursue growth and solutions; always exploring ways to be better.
Elevate: Our focus is on people – we lift each other up with kindness, empathy, and respect.
Achieve: We are creative community leaders. We solve big problems working together.
Drive: Our work does not stop until all families have a safe place to call home.

The mission of the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation is to assist the U. S. Marine Corps in providing a tangible sign of hope to economically disadvantaged children at Christmas. This assistance includes providing day-to-day leadership and oversight of the Program, raising funds to provide toys to supplement the collections of local Toys for Tots Campaigns, to provide promotional and support material and defray the costs of conducting annual Toys for Tots Campaigns. Other Foundation support includes providing administrative, advisory, financial, logistic and promotional support to local Toys for Tots Coordinators; managing funds raised and monies donated based on the use of Toys for Tots name or logo; providing other support the Marine Corps, as a federal agency, cannot provide; and conducting public education and information programs about Toys for Tots that call the general public to action in support of this patriotic community action program.

Mission Statement
Phoenix Children's Project is dedicated to improving the lives of children living in poverty in Phoenix, Arizona and surrounding areas. Our goal is to help these children become healthy, self-reliant adults. First we help feed them, then we teach them how break the chain and create better lives for themselves as adults.
Who We Help
We help children living below poverty level in the Metro Phoenix area. Most of these kids live in subsidized or Section 8 housing and come from single-parent households with a total annual income of less than $15,000.

The Arizona chapter was chartered in 2010 by a dedicated group of volunteers on a mission to transform their losses in to something with meaning an purpose. Our chapter focuses on leading with a service heart and we continuously strive to carry out the organizational mission to: Save lives and bring hope to those affected by suicide.
The grassroots work we do focuses on eliminating the loss of life from suicide by: delivering innovative prevention programs, educating the public about risk factors and warning signs, raising funds for suicide research and programs, and reaching out to those individuals who have lost someone to suicide.
As a part of AFSP’s growing nationwide network of chapters, we bring together people from all backgrounds who want to prevent suicide in our communities. Families and friends who have lost someone to suicide, vulnerable individuals, mental health professionals, clergy, educators, students, community/business leaders, and many others energize our chapter.
